For Snake Lake Brewing Co.’s eighth year, the label for this Barrel-Aged Tripel on Brett was designed to be a study in evolution. The project honors the liquid's unique journey: originally a collaboration with Cabin Brewing in March 2024, the base beer was diverted into red wine barrels and inoculated with Brettanomyces.

Over time, the traditional Belgian characteristics of clove and bubblegum faded, replaced by a “funkified” profile of tropical pineapple, light tartness, and deep red wine tannins.

The visual centerpiece, the Ouroboros, depicts a serpent consuming its own tail. Coiled into a horizontal figure-eight, the illustration serves as a dual metaphor: a subtle nod to the brewery’s 8th anniversary and a representation of the cyclic nature of brewing — where one creation is repurposed to give life to the next.
