Week Calgary 2026
The brand identity for Design Week Calgary 2026 is a collaborative partnership with Calgary’s Public Eye Studio. The project centers on a strategic visual response to this year’s theme, “In Tune” — a festival-wide exploration of the rhythms, spaces, and hidden connections that define the city.
The Vision: Motion as Language. The identity moves away from static design, drawing inspiration from creative coding and contemporary kinetic typography. Type and shape are treated as active participants in the urban narrative: shifting, drifting, and re-syncing over time. This motion-first approach mirrors the pulse of Calgary’s diverse design community, spanning from architecture and fashion to urban technology.
